Member on the Move – February Spotlight


Tell us about you goals, what inspired you to get into CTF?

I really wanted to lose the baby weight after my 1st pregnancy and I loved the idea of group training. I quickly got hooked (obsessed) with my CTF workouts and now a little over two years later I’m working off the weight from baby #2!

What do you do from 9 to 5?

I chase my two mischievous toddlers around and somewhere in there I manage to get my work done as a freelance Art Director/Graphic Designer.

When do you make time to workout?

I work out at CTF 4-5 days a week, usually in the morning. I like to get my day started with a workout!

How do your workouts at CTF keep you going in your busy professional life?

It starts my day off right and keeps me motivated. I cram a lot in my days and if I don’t workout I’m dragging by the end of the day.

What’s one goal you have inside the gym and one outside of it?

I want to keep pushing myself to overcome some of my mental blocks, like box jumps! I really want to eat better. I try really hard to keep on track but sweets are a downfall of mine!

Tell us about you goals, what inspired you to get into CTF?

My fitness goals have always been to be in it for the long run so that it hopefully helps me live a longer, healthier life. There isn’t a sport that I don’t enjoy participating or competing in so when my wife told me about CTF and the variety of classes offered, it was a no-brainer when it came to staying in shape.

What do you do from 9 to 5?

When I’m not working as an IT Manager I try to cram in a workout at CTF. In-between that I’m chasing my two toddler daughters at home, who by then have sucked more energy out of me than a burpee mile.

When do you make time to workout?

I try to get a workout in during my lunch hour and/or evenings and weekends. You won’t find me getting up for a 5 AM workout.

How do your workouts at CTF keep you going in your busy professional life?

My workouts at CTF allow me to incorporate more activity into my day instead of spending my waking hours sedentary working at a computer.

What’s one goal you have inside the gym and one outside of it?

My goal inside the gym is to become to a stronger runner while generally staying active outside of it.
