Amy attended DePaul University and graduated with a double major in Accounting and Finance! During her junior year, a close friend convinced Amy to join her in the Race To The Taste 5K. With little running experience, but serious love for food and always up for a challenge, Amy naturally accepted and her love for running was born! Even with thousands of miles under her belt, Amy still can’t get enough and is currently working towards her goal of running in all 50 states. In addition to marathons, Amy has completed in nearly 30 Spartan, OCR, and trail races, in the 2017 OCRWC in Canada, 2 Ultra Ragnar’s, countless half marathons and 9 full marathons. Looking for a running buddy? Amy can be spotted along the lake front running path all 12 months of the year and is working on becoming an RRCA Certified Running Coach.

After 8 years in corporate finance and accounting, Amy tossed her calculator out the window and decided to follow her heart and became a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer. Amy believes fitness and exercise are for everyone. Leading by example, Amy tries to continually challenge herself and those around her to find their fitness passion by adding variety, education, grit and a touch of laughter to each session.

Favorite exercise is running, but also enjoys the snatch, kettlebell swing, deadlift, box jumps, heavy med ball slams, and of course all the BURPEES!
Favorite food is anything with carbs or chocolate.
