Kristen Eschbach

Kristen’s fascination with movement all started when she witnessed the USA Women’s Gymnastics team win the team gold at the 1996 Olympics. Kristen remembers looking at her mom at 3 years old saying “I want to do that”. Throughout her childhood in the northwest suburbs of Chicago she dabbled in dance, gymnastics, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, and diving before settling on competitive studio dance and high school poms as her main focus.  After graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in Community Health, Kristen started working as a software consultant for a company in Kansas City, MO.  Realizing her body needed movement after sitting at a desk all day, she joined ClassPass and instantly fell in love with group fitness with her favorite classes being HIIT classes that incorporated strength training.  When she moved back to Chicago, she found Crosstown through ClassPass and knew she had found her fitness home after her first class.  Over the last few years, Kristen has been known to frequent 6am classes at Roscoe Village and Northside as well as participate in the annual Crosstown Games, which she placed 2nd among the ladies in 2019.  In 2020, she decided to follow her passion and pursue her personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).  Her goal is to help her clients fall in love with fitness and leave them feeling confident and stronger mentally and physically just like the trainers did for her.
