Liu Gross

Liu is excited brings his enthusiasm, experience, and passion to the Crosstown community. With the experience of playing sports like football, basketball, and track as a kid, and later in college, he learned that the fire of competition is one he always wanted to stay near. This helped shape his philosophy as a fitness professional: train with purpose, focus, passion and most of all have fun, train Iike the athlete you are.

With over 15 years in the industry, Liu has had the honor of being a Nike Trainer and a contributor to publications like Men’s Journal, Muscle & Fitness and Muscle & Fitness Hers. Although those are very cool, the greatest accomplishment will always be the connection he gets to have with his athletes.

Relentless in the pursuit of here goals Liu knows that the destination is important but it’s the journey that changes lives. Believing that there is never any reason to give less than your best you can always expect his best and in turn, he will be expecting yours. For him the choices are simple: be better or be basic. If better is your choice then Liu will help you get there.

CTF is Chicago's Premier HIIT studio. Each class is guaranteed to be different with each visit. Our trainers design each class to include interval cardiovascular routines, mobility and strength training. Open to all fitness levels, this class puts first-timers and fitness die-hards side by side to make progress at their own level together in one community. **New Check-in Protocol: Everyone is required to sanitize shoes (Healthy Sole) and hands upon entering any CTF studio. Everyone is also required to take a surface temperature reading and must wear a mask at all times.
