Growing up with three brothers who were heavily involved in sports, Mikhail’s life has always revolved around just that…sports. Whether it was playing basketball, football, hockey, or running track, her competitive spirit drove her to try anything her brothers were involved in. She was introduced to volleyball in high school and went along to play at and graduate from The University of Iowa with a degree in Spanish and Education.

Mikhail’s passion for health & wellness, as well as helping others is what led her to quit her corporate job and pursue a career in fitness. She obtained her ACE Group Fitness Instructor certification and is currently completing the ACE Personal Trainer certification program. Prior to returning to Chicago, Mikhail was living in Scottsdale, AZ working as a General Manager and trainer for a boutique group fitness studio. She believes in balance, both mentally and physically, and that lifting heavy things will always make you feel powerful! When she’s not at the gym, you can find her on a restaurant patio (probably watching sports) with her two dogs, Bentley and Rocco!
