Tell us about you goals, what inspired you to get into CTF?

I finished my master’s degree last year while working full-time and going to school full-time. As a result, I was really out of shape. I joined Class pass to try and find a workout that was challenging and fun. My baby sister introduced me to Crosstown and the gym was exactly what I was looking for. Once I found out that the majority of my favorite Class pass instructors were also involved in Crosstown Fitness I signed up permanently.

What do you do from 9 to 5?

 I teach 7th and 8th grade math and science, as well as, GED math test prep classes in Cicero.

When do you make time to workout?

 I make time to workout in the mornings on the weekends and after work during the weekdays.

How do your workouts at CTF keep you going in your busy professional life?

My work days are typically spent focusing on making sure that all of my students are getting exactly what they need to be their most successful self. So, the time I spend at Crosstown is an hour of the day that I get to worry only about me. It gives me a chance to reset and reboot from my day. I am also a way more effective teacher when I am happy and healthy.

What’s one goal you have inside the gym and one outside of it?

n the gym I want to get back the definition that I had in my abs when I was in my 20’s. Outside of the gym I want to finish my middle school science endorsement this year.

Tell us about you goals, what inspired you to get into CTF.

About a year and a half ago I retired from playing basketball professionally in Europe and at the time I wanted no part of being inside a gym or lifting any weights. I soon realized that I missed the feeling of being in shape and going through challenging workouts. I tried out a bunch of gyms but CTF was the one gym that I truly felt pushed me the way my workouts did at the height of my playing career. It didn’t take long before i was hooked!

What do you do from 9 to 5?

I work for the WNBA team the Chicago Sky in their Sponsorship department.

How do your workouts at CTF keep you going in your busy professional life?

I find working out at CTF to be a very important part of my work life. CTF’s tough workouts are a great way for me to relieve the built up stress and can help me forget about the pressures of work.

When do you find time to work out?

I try to get my workouts done before going into work. I know after work I can find a million excuses as to why I don’t need to work out. Plus who doesn’t want to start their day with the great CTF training staff!

What’s one goal you have inside the gym and one outside of it.

Inside the gym I really just want to push myself to take on new challenges, nothing feels better when you can do something new you could do a week or two before. Outside the gym I want to be better about eating healthier to help lead a happy and healthy lifestyle.
