Tell us about you goals, what inspired you to get into CTF?
I began working out at CTF to ensure my suit i got married in 13 years ago still fit! I want to continue learning to do things that make me happy and see results thru hard work and determination.
What do you do from 9 to 5?
I am the proud director or Fred’s Camp, a family run summer day camp in Lincoln Park since the summer of 1994 serving children aged 4-14. During the school year I work as a PE teacher at an elementary school in Lakeview. Recently I began a consulting business (itsveryapparent.com) helping parents, CEO’s, and managers become more effective leaders with the most important people in their lives. My wife calls it my “concierge coaching business”.
When do you make time to workout?
To ensure I am at my most productive, both emotionally and physically, I make my workouts a priority.
How do your workouts at CTF keep you going in your busy professional life?
In order to keep my sanity I need structure to my day. I think a scheduled workout is a great tool to provide that sense of calm and balance.
What’s one goal you have inside the gym and one outside of it?
In the gym my goal is to continue to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone. I also have wanted to do 10 consecutive pull ups. I am getting close!! Professionally I want to continue to serve those in and around my life.
